Think about these questions: What is your legacy. How you want others to remember you. Have you been doing enough to the community.

Yasmin Ahmad with Sepet
Last Monday 25 July 2009 was a dark night for all Malaysian, Yasmin Ahmad succumbed to her injury and was pronounced dead. She suffered a stroke and underwent surgery to reduce swelling in her brain.
So, who is Yasmin Ahmad?
I don’t really know her in person but I’ve seen her works and they are beautiful. In brief, Yasmin Ahmad is a scriptwriter, writer and film director. She is also an executive creative director of Leo Burnett Kuala Lumpur.
Her television commercials and films are well-known in Malaysia for their humour, heart and love that crosses cross-cultural barriers. Her works have won multiple awards and recognitions within Malaysia and Internationally.
It was her endless contribution in the film and advertising industry that touched every person who knows her . It was her perseverance and hard work that earned Yasmin a place in every soul who witnesses her works.
This is not just entertainment industry but also in any industry or work you involved. Simply you your best and only your best, people will recognize your effort. People will reward you later with your result.

Yasmin Ahmad Mural
I saw on the newspaper today that a graphic designer and street artist who only wanted to be known as Jeng decide to share his feelings with the world in the form of a mural as tribute to the award-winning film director.
“The mural is my personal tribute to Yasmin. I do not know her personally but I have been following her work since Sepet,” he said, adding that he has watched the film seven times.
Does it sound familiar? Like Michael Jackson, people will do something back for someone they respect. Well, all I can say is RIP Yasmin Ahmad. You will always in the heart of every Malaysian who has seen, read and touched by you and your works.
Below are some tv commercials directed by Yasmin. Enjoy
