Malaysia Day On September 16

To all my beloved friends,

September 16 is Malaysia Day and it’s a holiday!

Ok, let me brief you a little bit of Malaysia Day.  September 16 marks the formation of Malaysia; joining Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore. Well, you can say it’s the establishment of the Malaysian federation on the same date in 1963.

Prior to the formation of Malaysia, North Borneo and Singapore unilaterally declared independence from the United Kingdom on August 31, 1963.

That’s it… short and precise.

However, I will be working hard on that day. No celebration with free flow buffet with beautiful wine. That’s not my style.

I prefer to continue with my project and only wish I can finish it on time to launch before end of next Saturday.

The clock is ticking and time is passing by quickly.

Applying The Law Of Attraction

The Secret Law Of Attraction

The Secret - Law Of Attraction

I’m sure you heard about it. The Law Of Attraction and The Secret movie have created a huge buzz for the past few years. I have to agree that the philosophy is not new but the book and the movie had put it into a systematic and easy to understand to people around the world.

I have to ask, do you remember that first spark of hop you felt when you watched The Secret?

Do you remember that first spark of hope you felt when you watched The Secret? I remember the desire that filled my heart, knowing that finally I can make my dreams come true!

That’s what I felt and thought at that very moment. As time passes by, I don’t have the same strong feeling and desire. I applied the law of attraction but I don’t seem to get it all the time. Yeah, I know that’s very frustrating.

But how many of you soon saw that hope dwindle into frustration like I did? Come on be honest now… nobody is watching.

After some time I found myself started muttering things like:

  • It seems to work for other people, but I just can’t get it right.
  • I’m frustrated that sometimes I can get it to work, but sometimes I can’t. Is there something I missed or overlooked?
  • Why am I having so much trouble? What’s the trick or solution?
  • I think the universe is against me. I’m trying very, Very hard but still nothing wonderful is happening!

If you ask me if I’m worried. Well, the answer is surprisingly no…. Let me explain.

I still go on with my life and I always know that I’m not alone. According to a survey, about 97% of people also couldn’t make the Law of Attraction work for them the first time round.

Think about it, just like anything else, you have to practice many times before you see success. A child doesn’t learn to walk without falling over a couple of times, right?

But what is the missing link here? Why can’t we get it work all the time?

Well, I guess Bob Proctor and Mary Morrissey may have the answer for us.

Achievement Begins With Believe

Believe it or not, everything starts with “Believe“. Most of the time, I see people asking for proof before they believe into anything. Well, there is nothing wrong with it. But how many people succeeded when they were given proof of potential first?

I bought numerous books on self-enrichment or personal development. I was trying to go deep inside the authors’ mind and copy what they are doing or thinking about in order to succeed. I regard them as my mentors. Some of them are Jim Rohn, Anthony Robbins and Robert Kiyosaki.

I found that they started with believe. Believe that they can be successful in their field and visualized the moment of great feelings. Then they see the huge potential and made massive actions to get the results that they wanted. In their actions, they had no doubts or even concerns that it won’t work.

When they did want they had to do, huge results came in and they experienced the great moment. A moment of “A Ha! I Get It“. That makes their believes stronger and they could see more potential and drive greater actions and achieve better results.

The cycle goes on and on; never seems to stop its magical moments. Their believes never fail them and there is nothing holding back their believes.

Now, that is the 1st step to a better life. We want to achieve our goals. Be it financial freedom, getting a dreamed car or big house on the beach, we must start with Believe .

I know that takes a lot of courage to go through all the hurdles. But at the end of the rainbow, there will be a pot of gold.

Thank you.

Outsource Billing Services: Tremendous Savings To Run Your Business

You may have hired an outsource billing service because you wanted to help your cash flow or improve your bottom line. An outsource billing service will do this for both companies and local governments, but it’s important to keep some facts in mind to make sure that they’re working for you in the best manner possible. Following are the things you most need to know about your outsource billing service.

For one thing, both private businesses and local governments can benefit from the collections arms of these billing services. If you find a billing service that also handles collections, it’s a real boon because it will save you precious time on difficult accounts. Rather than having to find a collections agency or assign out files to your collections department, an outsource billing service that also does collections can take care of such issues, saving you time and money.

Rather than you having to search for a new vendor and spend time and money and resources turning over accounts to them, collection agencies that are part of outsource billing services can begin the collections process as soon as the account starts to look troublesome.

That time window can make the difference between getting a good percentage of the money owed to you back and getting nothing. Statistics show that after 60 days the chances of getting a return drop steeply the more time goes on. If your billing service can handle collections without an exchange of files, it’s much more efficient and much more likely that you’ll get your money back.

Another thing to ask your outsource billing service is if they are getting volume discounts, and if so, if they’re passing the savings on to you. Many billing services do work for a high volume of companies, and therefore get bulk discounts on mailings, phone rates, etc. They should be passing these savings on to you. If they’re not, showing them you’re aware of this factor may prompt them to lower their rates.

There is no reason to pay more and to waste the resources of your accounting department or your sales department on billing or collections of any kind. Hire professionals, pay less for operational costs and free up your own staff to work on more productive, business-generating tasks. When you’re looking for an outsource billing service, ask them how many accounts they service in your industry. In this case, the more the better because of the cost savings.

Ask your billing service if they can charge you following different structures depending on the services they perform. They’ll all charge you monthly for billing services, but because collection agencies usually take a percentage of the money they get back for you, they have the benefit of not requiring you to shell out money up front. This can significantly affect your cash flow, so if your company handles both jobs for you, ask them if they can bill you monthly for the billing but take a cut of any return on collection they achieve for you.

Finally, an outsource billing service can still give you immediate real time access to your billing and collections accounts. Choose one that gives you online access to your accounts so that you can keep an eye on all of their endeavors and solve problems if you notice any. Your outsource billing service can be your best friend, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep an eye on them.

Conversion Rates Do Not Vary Much?

Today, I read an interesting post from Google blogspot.  It involved a question from many advertisers and marketers.

How much conversion rates vary with ads position?

I have a same question everytime I setup a new campaign or tweaking my existing adwords campaigns.  No doubt as a marketer, we keep looking for a breakthrough to increase conversion rate. Let’s say I have 100 visitors to my website and 5 visitors took action like subscribing to my newsletter or download free item. With that, I have 5% conversion rate.

Now, imagine 8 visitors took action instead of just 5. I will have 8% conversion rate. This merely 3% increment means 37.5% improvement from my previous conversion rate!

Now, let’s go back to blogspot post. Google adwords insider team did a very good studying on this subject. They found that Conversion Rates Don’t Vary Much with Ads Position.

Here is the actual statement from the post:

We have used a statistical model to account for these effects and found that, on average, there is very little variation in conversion rates by position for the same ad. For example, for pages where 11 ads are shown the conversion rate varies by less than 5% across positions. In other words, an ad that had a 1.0% conversion rate in the best position, would have about a 0.95% conversion rate in the worst position, on average. Ads above the search results have a conversion rate within ±2% of right-hand side positions.

For more detail of the report, go to http://adwords.blogspot.com/2009/08/conversion-rates-dont-vary-much-with-ad.html

Anyway, I will still look at the possibility to cut of cost per click with the ads position.
