Happy Chinese Lunar New Year 2010
Happy Chinese Lunar New Year 2010 to everyone! According to Chinese calender this year is also the year of the Tiger and many believe that it promises to be auspicious.
If you are in business, you will be raking in the money this year. But this only applies to those born in 1974 as different fortunes await other Tigers. Or so predicts a Hong Kong feng shui master.
I’m not so fond of such predictions. I usually don’t pay much attention, however I do read it for fun. If you are one to believe in such predictions, those born in the Year of the Tiger are said to be full of life, fearless, noble and bursting with vigour.
My sister was born in the Year of Tiger. That makes her a tigress. When at work, she is very serious and men are probably scared of her. Just joking.
Coincidentally, the first day of Chinese New Year is also a Valentine’s day. I think this is the first occasion in my life. 2 in1 anyone?
The main point here is family reunion. Now is the time we gather around, catch the old time and foster greater relationship with one another. I never forget to ask for forgiveness. This is important because you don’t always get the chance.
My plan is visiting some close relatives and good dinners. No plan to travel far this Chinese New Year.
How are you going to celebrate this Chinese Lunar New Year?

Blogging To Success
If you have been following my blog for some time, you will notice that I didn’t really pay much attention to my blog.
When I started this blog, it was meant to be a personal blog. I wrote about things that were happening around me and I shared some thoughts on certain matters. After a while, I felt so ‘lazy’ to continue writing.
I found it hard to come out a topic and write something about it. Soon, I realised that instead of writing my mind out, I was ’selling’. It’s like selling my ideas, recommendation and some affiliate products.
There is nothing wrong about it. But it was never meant to be that way.
So, I stopped blogging and start to find my way back.
Now, here I am… writing something totally genuine. The success of blogging depends on the objection of the blog itself. If I want to talk about my personal thoughts, then I must do it that way.
I appreciate your comments, suggestions and feedback.

Package Yourself To Success
This is very interesting story. I know for a long time that we need to ‘package’ ourselves to give a good impression. Unknowingly we have to impress almost everyone that we may meet.
When you dress better than other people, you are perceived as a leader and someone who has higher authority. You will feel better too.
Whether you like it or not, perception is reality and your confidence depends on it. You don’t just feel good about yourself, but you can also make a great impression when you are meeting with important client or attending a job interview.
No doubt, first impression is what it counts. When you feel good, you are boosting your confidence too. Others will see that and begin to follow you because you are perceived as a leader.
You may say “I’m not a leader… I don’t know how to talk or present or blah… blah… blah”. I tell you what, you don’t have to know all those stuffs.
I’m not saying you don’t need to know how to speak or improve your presentation skill. Those are necessary to close or succeed in your business deal.
My point is be confident, stay that way and show it. People like to follow those who they perceived as a leader. The keyword here is perceived.
So, don’t worrying and start package yourself to success. Nice dress, no?

2010 Goals
Welcome to Year 2010.
Many people will talk about their new year goals and dreams. I had thought about it too. When I looked back, I don’t think I’ve done enough to achieve my 2009 dreams.
Forever they are just dreams.
I realised that writing down your 2010 resolution or goals doesn’t really help much. At least for me. What is more important is the action plans and how I execute each of them accurately and swiftly.
I can have “I want to earn $10,000 a month by end of this year”, or “I want to get a new 2,000 sq ft house”. But that will not get me anywhere.
Don’t get me wrong. Setting your goal is important. But it is more important to have a strong reason for each goal and plan out some tasks to achieve your goal. I need a strong reason to motivate me to work hard on certain tasks.
I’m certain to achieve my goal if I work on these tasks on timely manner.
For example;
Goal – Earning $10,000 a month by Nov 2010.
Reason – Move to a new 2,000 sq ft house.
Tasks:
- Develop new product in a new profitable niche market by June 2010.
- Organize 3-day workshops and seminars. Twice each month from April~Sept 2010.
You can see that it is a combination of goal, reason and action that is driving us to a new height.
So, I’m excited to sit down and put down every dreams that I have at the back of my mind. Then the reasons I want those dreams and finally draw out a clear action plans.
Now, how’s you 2009 goals? What have you done to improve your achievement in 2010?
Love to hear from you.

The SMART Seminar Singapore 2009
Just last month, I received an invitation to the SMART Seminar Singapore 2009. I was so excited that I accepted the invitation immediately and planned my journey to Singapore. Okay, the trip from Ipoh, Malaysia to Singapore took only 8 hours… not very far.
In case you don’t know about the SMART seminar…
SMART seminar is for smart people only. You read that right… smart! Let me explain.
The attendees are smart enough to make their own judgement and hold themselves accountable to their future lifestyle. They also know that in order to be success in internet business, they have to join the community and get to know like-minded people. They also know that they need a or multiple coaches to accelerate their success.

SMART speakers
SMART speakers are smart too. If not, they won’t be speaking in the public. Each and everyone of them has a gigantic success backing them.
They are Simon Leung, Andy Huang, Fabian Lim, Jaz Lai, Peter Parks, Alok Jain, Nikhil Parekh, Ian Del Carmen, Dr. Mike Woo-Ming, Jo Han Mok… (I guess that’s all)
My purpose was to meet these experts that I can only know their names online. I always wanted to meet them face-to-face and chat with them.
A thing that I found most valuable in this seminar is coaching program. Most of these experts were offering their coaching programs that I find a good way to be successful. Mentorship is the missing link in our journey to our goal. Believe it or not, save your time and you don’t have to re-invent the wheel.
I personally had a great time during the seminar. I’m sure many who attended the seminar are awesome.
