I can’t believe it… I actually lost my password.
Well, I can always click on the “forget password” to request for a new one. Unfortunately I forget that I changed my admin email address too!
Then I have to try numerous email address in order to retrieve the password. It took me about 5 minutes to find one. Whew…! (what a relief)
Now, I’m posting this one just to let you guys know…
… It’s ok to forget the password but never the clue that will help you to retrieve or request a new password.
Never, never, forget about the backup plan.
Well, I can start posting again.

3 Things To Do In March 2010
I listed here 3 things to do in March 2010. At first, it’s all in my mind. I never write it down or type it out anywhere. I know that is a bad practice. All the self-help books that I read, pointed out this problem that people failed to accomplish their most desired results.
That is the keyword; Most Desired Results.
What do I really want to achieve? What is The most important thing that I want to accomplish right now? I’ve been asking myself these questions, many many times before.
So, instead of a long list for the whole year 2010, I break it down to month. I think that helps me to focus. Next, I need some straight forward tasks to complete.
-
5% More dollar in my bank
In case you don’t know yet, I’m trading part-time since 2004. Only recently I’ve been a bit aggressive about it and eager to make it big for me. For the past 3 months, when the stock market was good, I got monthly return of 15-30% for each of my trades. But this month is tough. The market is very volatile and against a strong resistance line. I guess 5% is fair

Achieve $20 a month in my Adsense
Ok, there is nothing to brag about. I’ve been able to generate consistent income from Adsense since August 2009. I built this one website in 2008 but no Adsense ads on it. I was having Amazon affiliate products on but no sales. With Adsense my monthly income fluctuated between $15 to $18 a month. That’s just one site. I thought of building more such sites then I thought why don’t I try to increase my marketing effort to see if $20 a month is possible. If not then, time to move on.

Microblogging everyday
It may sound funny but that’s what I want to do this month. I’ve a Twitter account for a year. You can tweet me here and I love to chat with you. The point here is to make friends. I say friends not spammers. I know there is a lot of social media spammers out there, pushing and selling hard. I want to have a real, good buddy. If you are like me and would love to connect with me, do follow me @vincentyee.

Well, the 3 things to do in March 2010 seems fair and not too complex. I just follow the plan that I have and I’m going to write them down on my notepad.
On the first week of April, I will post my results and a new to do list for that month. Now I’ve made my commitment. You can always nudge me or give me a kick on the ass for failing to stick to the plan.

From Blogging To Microblogging
I find that there is a change of topics since the beginning of 2010. Instead of talking about blogs and websites, we are talking more about microblogging and social media.
Now the real question is what is the meaning of blogging in the new era? Do we have to wait for hours for someone to feedback for simply reply our questions?
With application like instead messaging and microblogging technology coming up fast and furious, you don’t have to WAIT!
For example Twitter, I use it to search for interesting story around the globe and the information travels faster than the news on my TV. I can ask any questions and just wait a few minutes before the answer (or somewhat near) pops up on my screen.
One down point is the limitation of just 140 characters. When I first use it, I found it difficult to put my questions or thoughts in 140 character space. I got annoyed and frustrated at times.
But there is a lesson for us all. Stop beating around the bush. Straight to the point and you are done. I can just make 5 to 10 tweets a day. That would be about 1400 characters. Congratulations! I just made half-length of my articles.
I never have to think about certain topics or subjects. I’m not sure if it’s just me. When I want to blog about something like my lifestyle or favourite food, I went blank. At one point, I knew I need to be on the topic all the time. Or maybe I don’t really have much to write.
With microblogging platform and 140 chars save my day. I find myself slowly moving toward twitter… but not away from blogging. I still love blogging.
At least I have to ‘private’ place to blog about something more intimidate
I can guarantee one day I may completely into microblogging. How about you my friend? Are you going from blogging to microblogging?

2010 Challenges: New Beginning
What are your 2010 challenges? Did anyone come up to you and ask you this simple question. Yet, it requires some knowledge and wisdom to answer. For me, 2010 year is a new beginning. The beginning of my career and my lifestyle.
Here is something hot from me
, online marketing is still my core business. I’ve been heavily involved in digital marketing for a year now. I got moderate results. When I looked back at my spreadsheet, I noticed that I got a pretty good results in investment.
Then I thought, “Hey, why don’t I explore more about this.”
That’s right. I’m going to learn and acquire a new skill. Believe it or not, it’s not the money $$$ that measures your success, but rather how much you contribute. Contribute to the community and contribute to yourself.
Yes, you will be the happiest man on earth stuffing billions of dollars into your bank account but what is the use? You can carry it with you during your last hour on earth.
Instead of thinking what you can receive to make you happy, think about what you can do or contribute that makes you the happiest man on earth.
Here is the secret, those big earners are big Giver too! So, take some time and think about what you can give back to the community. Make others happy as you make yours.

Valentine’s Day Guide For Men
The Westerners celebrate Valentine’s Day on Feb 14, but the Chinese do it on the fifteenth day of Chinese New Year, Chap Goh Mei.
This year is the first time we get to celebrate 2 occasions on the same day. Let’s celebrate the prosperity of love and Tiger year together.
For all romantics out there who have gone through the ups and downs of a relationship and the eventual kiss and make up, here’s your chance to put that experience to use now.
I found a very interesting and useful guide for men. Some find it hilarious, some find it useless and some find it fresh. Whatever it is, take some time to make this celebration more meaningful.
Here is the “A Guy’s Guide to Having The Best V-Day Ever”:
- Surprise her with rose petals scattered on new bed linen and your romantic gesture is bound to last more than a night.
- Not a chef but want to impress her with your cooking? Remember to scent the air with her favourite fragrance to disguise the aroma of burnt food.
- Leave that remote control alone. With lingerie as gifts, you get to have your very own private show.
- Flowers are romantic, but appealing to her pragmatic side will score you extra points.
- Get her a handbag that’s big enough to hold everything, including your wallet, your GPS navigator and your handphone.
“A bird does not sing because it has an answer. It sings because it has a song.”
