My name is Vincent Yee from Malaysia.

Currently doing my own business in internet marketing to help any businesses to expand their reach to targeted prospects and interested buyers.

In June 2009, I started this business as eSource Marketing at my hometown, Ipoh. I went on to learn and hands-on latest internet marketing strategies.

My career in the past…

My career kicked-off in year 2000. I got a job in my hometown as an engineer in one of the biggest local semiconductor subcontractor. I was lucky to get the job in 2 weeks time after my graduation.

Year 2000 was not a good one for school leaver because the economy started to plunge from all time high in 1999. Many of my friends were looking for huge MNCs. But I was just happy to work for local company.

It was a good opportunity to learn and grow with the company. I met a lot of people; colleagues and customers.

My job was to improve, develop and maintain processes in manufacturing plan. I was one of  the selected few in the ‘elite’ team to start-up new phase of our company’s core business in Jan 2001. It was new floor plan with plenty of offer in the future.

My team grew from a small group to a full team by end of 2001. We started manufacturing after series of customers’ visits and audits. We started building about 10k parts a day. In just 4 years, our production output was 2.8M a day!

In mid of 2004, I decided to move to new environment. I was offered a job in Penang to develop a new production line. It was a MNC. I couldn’t say no and I took up the challenge and move on.

Then in 2005, I got another offer to start-up a new line in another local company at Kulim High-Tech. That time, I got the chance to learn more about electrical test operation. Before that, I was only focusing no manufacturing operation. Electrical test was an added-value to my career.

After one and half years  working at the northen part of Malaysia, I moved down to Kuala Lumpur. I was offered a packaging development job. I spent a good 2 years working in MNC and I have lots of memories with the group there.

Finally in May 2009, I decided to retire from semiconductor industry. I believe my career in semiconductor field has reached its limit. If I don’t move now, I might become complacent and will not want to leave my comfort zone.

I want to learn more about other things. I want to venture into something that I wanted. So far, my employments were all head hunted. I appreciate all the opportunities, trusts and friendships given by many wonderful persons during my journey. I wish them all the Best!

My Experience in Internet Marketing…

I have been doing internet marketing one year ago before I decided to go on my own. I involved in internet multi-level marketing (MLM), Affiliate Marketing, Social Networking and Blogging.

I bought most of the ‘gurus’ products and courses; looking for the right way to build my business online. However I never achieve the success that I am looking for. I believe the only way to succeed in this industry is to follow and learn face-to-face with the mentor who is aligned with your goal.

I made a few sales and lost most of my campaigns. There was no consistency in my earnings. However I found this opportunity in early July 2009 advertise on a local newspaper. Without any hesitation, I called to register myself to a free preview.

It was a workshop called MY Google Workshop organized by Patric Chan who is a Malaysia and heavily involved in internet marketing. He is one of the experts that I know and look highly upon. He is partnering with Simon Leung and David Dinucci.

Simon Leung, known all across the Internet Marketing industry as the Master AdWords Optimizer, is one of the world’s leading experts in Google AdWords.

At Google, David DiNucci was one of the first employees to work on Google AdWords, where he was the founding member of the AdWords phone team and the national agency team.

Simon and David are definitely no strangers in Google office. They know their stuffs.

Immediately I know this could be a chance for me to understand how these guys work and learn much more. In fact, I have bigger plan; to partnership with them on my future project.

That is how I got involved in search engine marketing or search engine advertising business.

I personally feel that owning an internet business is a way to go compared with traditional business brick-and-mortar model. Internet technology has been growing explosively for the past few years and I don’t see sign of slowing down.

As the number of internet users grows, your internet business will grow too. That is the beauty of internet business where there is no boundaries.

I learned a lot about internet business because I literally hands-on. I built my own websites, compiling products and even created the graphics in the sales page or post.

There was joy and satisfaction when I see my work published. I also welcome any suggestions, feedback and enquiries about my work and products.
